I ordered this 3/8 inch (9mm) double-faced satin ribbon for wrapping small gifts and omiyage (souvenir) packages, and I’m absolutely delighted with it. The double-faced finish means both sides have that lovely glossy sheen – no need to worry about which side is facing up when tying bows. It’s made of 100% polyester and feels soft yet sturdy, not flimsy at all.
I chose colour 029 White, and it’s exactly as shown – crisp and elegant. With 196 solid colours available, there’s truly a shade for every season and occasion. The 100-yard roll is fantastic value – way more affordable than buying small spools at local craft stores here in Japan, and the quality is actually better. Shipping was surprisingly fast and well-packaged too.
Perfect for gift wrapping, hair bows, small craft projects, you name it. The narrow 9mm width is just right for delicate Japanese-style wrapping and small present boxes. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be ordering more colours!
