I’ve been making hair bows for my Etsy shop for about three years now, and I’ve gone through a LOT of ribbon. This 3-inch single-faced satin is honestly some of the best I’ve worked with. The width is perfect for those big, chunky boutique-style bows that everyone wants right now, and the 100-yard roll lasts me way longer than I expected.
I ordered color 150 Peony and it’s a gorgeous true pink – exactly what showed on my screen, no weird surprises when it arrived. The single-face satin has that nice glossy sheen on one side and a matte back, which actually works great for bow-making because the shiny side faces out and the matte side helps hold its shape better when you’re folding loops. It’s soft enough to work with easily but sturdy enough that the bows don’t flop over.
Shipping was pretty quick too, and it came neatly packaged without any crushed edges or weird creases. For the price, especially compared to what craft stores charge for way less yardage, this is a steal. I’ll definitely be back for more colors – already eyeing that Silver and Antique White for Christmas inventory.

This is high quality ribbon, which is single-faced satin. I have many uses for it. I crochet hats for cancer patients. I like to to weave a row of satin ribbon into a double crochet row near the face. I also like to use satin ribbon as a hanger for Do-It-Yourself Christmas ornaments. It’s a nice extra touch for a personal gift. This ribbon is versatile for many kinds of craft projects and general gift wrapping.
